Literature Text

If you love me,
Then come.
If you hate me,
Then stay.

If you come we will dance on moonlit beaches,
We will swim in crystal clear seas,
We will climb vibrant vines,
We will walk across mountains.
If you come we will kiss in the waterfall caves,
We will sing with the stars,
We will eat wonderful fruits,
We will live forever.

I promise.

If you stay I will go alone,
I will cry tears of cobalt blue,
I will never sleep soundly,
I will never leave security.
If you stay I will hide away,
I will love no longer,
I will speak silent words,
I will dream of such a land,
Where we would live forever.

I betray.

If you love me,
Then come.
If you hate me,
Then stay.
This poem is about love. About a somebody's love that is so strong that they feel that together they will be perfect, and apart they will be alone.

Maybe it's a love that is so precious it is bound to break, like glass.

Maybe it's a love that is so strong that it will keep intact, like iron.

Maybe it was meant to be.

Maybe it was not.
